When United Charitable Programs approached us for help with their website redesign, their website was difficult to navigate, did not prioritize their work, and was challenging to maintain. As a first step, we facilitated a full-day brand discovery session with their leadership and stakeholders. It became evident that their problem was deeper than website design and navigation. Their brand needed to be reworked to better match their mission and work. As a result of our brand discovery session, they shortened their name to United Charitable, because “programs” is only half of their focus as an organization.
After refining their brand, United Charitable needed a visual identity that would help them stand out and communicate their message effectively. We collaborated with their team to design a logo, color palette and visual language that reflects their identity as established, effective, friendly, and inspiring. Once the new visual identity was established, we led United Charitable through the design and development of their website and annual report.
Brand Calling remains a trusted advisor and partner to the organization. We have continued to work with United Charitable, helping them develop messaging and presentation materials aimed at driving new opportunities for the organization. They’ve also retained our team to provide ongoing branding, strategy and design consultation to help them develop a suite of marketing materials, craft a communication plan, and create a collection of editorial and event photography to capture the genuine relationships that strengthen their brand.
Getting off-site to meet with Shala of Brand Calling not only helped us wrap our minds around where we needed to take our brand in 2016, but it also served as an energizing team building exercise.
